You?” The words leave her lips as she stands properly and turns to bow at the male. “Thank you for helping me out, Mister!”
( 勝雄 ) Katsuo could take a hit from his sister; getting run into by a small teenager wouldn’t hurt him–not that he’d say so, of course. Still, he nodded, glancing over her to make sure she really hadn’t gotten hurt. His grip may have been a bit too tight when catching her, but he’d been too surprised to focus on anything other than making sure she didn’t actually fall. “I’m alright. And… you’re welcome?” The latter part came out as a question as he didn’t think she had anything to thank him for. “I mean… yeah… I guess there are worse people you could have run into?”

Are you hurt?” In his failure to see the girl rushing down the street, Katsuo hadn’t been able to avoid a collision, though he did manage to prevent her from falling, catching her by the arm; she was rather small, so if either of them hit the ground, it would have been her.
